LISA LECHOWICZ

Lisa served on the WEDI (Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange) Board from 1991-1993, when the EDI vision for healthcare was developed under then Secretary of State Louis Sullivan. Lisa developed Mutual’s first EDI Strategic Plan and implemented EDI for the Company’s health care operations; moving the Company from 20% electronic to over 60% electronic. In working through the issues in implementing EDI, Lisa saw the need (and opportunity) to assist small to mid-size payers and providers with the deployment of technology in health care. HDM was born.
